Different condition of employment between contingent workers and regular workers are appeared as two or three discriminations ranging from payment, working conditions, welfare standard, even to social recognition. Discriminations for contingent workers are presented as seriously unstabled employment, low payment. poor working conditions, and low level of welfare in terms of individuals. Meanwhile, in terms of the whole working group, it possibly dissolves the workers by the employment condition and the payment capability of each company, and it is likely to deepen unequality among them. Besides, social discrimination for contingent workers has another serious problem in that it could ultimately threaten working condition and stable employment of regular workers. Some says that such discrimination for contingent workers has been mostly caused by the Korean working welfare system, which has been developed and organized mainly by big company workers and regular workers. Thus, this study is generally to look into the Korean working welfare system in order to approach the social welfare problem of contingent workers, and then to find the ways to improve it.
